CryoDeath VR

You are an engineer aboard the deep-space station Evriskon. Die, and that engineer is gone. No checkpoint, no retry. The next engineer wakes somewhere else entirely, with their own way out to find.

CryoDeath assumes you already have your VR legs. It's intense, physical and unrelenting. Not the game to hand someone for their first time in a headset.

What is CryoDeath?
VR Survival Horror

You are an engineer aboard the deep-space station Evriskon. Die, and that engineer is gone.

No checkpoint. No retry. The next engineer wakes somewhere else entirely, and the Evriskon is vast. The choke point that saved you last time is decks away from wherever you come round.

Most horror stops being frightening the second you've memorised it. CryoDeath doesn't give you the chance. Scavenge the station and wire together gadgets to distract, delay and disable. Sound carries, light betrays you, and panic makes your mistakes loud.

Descending is the only way forward, and every level below is worse. The lower decks hold things older, stranger and better at finding you. Getting good doesn't make the Evriskon safer. It just gets you closer to escape.

  • No checkpoints. One life per engineer, and death is permanent.
  • No repeated routes. The Evriskon is enormous, and you never wake in the same place.
  • No safe depth. Deeper decks hold older, stranger company.
  • No floating menus. Diegetic and physical, hands on everything.
  • No guarantees. Stealth keeps you alive longest, not forever.

One life per engineer

Death is permanent. No checkpoint, no retry. Another engineer wakes somewhere else, and the station has already changed around them.

You never wake in the same place

The Evriskon is enormous. Each engineer comes round somewhere else entirely, so the corridor that got you out last time starts nowhere near you now.

Improvise, or don't leave

Scavenge parts and wire together gadgets to distract, delay and disable. Sound carries and light betrays you. Stealth keeps you alive longest, not forever.

Hunt Mode

Finish the station and it hands you something worse

Escape the Evriskon and Hunt Mode opens up: new terms, its own ending, and a sidearm for when improvising stops working. Getting good never made the station safer. It just changed what it wanted from you.

A shared vision,
built together

CryoDeath was originally created by Kerag. When Panic Point Games came on board, the goal was never to replace that vision. It was to protect what made CryoDeath unique while helping it grow.

Working alongside Kerag, we rebuilt the way the game was developed: extensive playtesting, close work with content creators, and a steady stream of player feedback feeding directly back into the game. Systems were refined, quality-of-life improved, and bespoke features added, every one aligned with Kerag's original direction.

The result is a game transformed through collaboration and iteration, without losing the identity that made it worth playing in the first place.

CryoDeath VR, something burns in the dark
From collaborators to partners

Kerag & Panic Point Games

What began as a collaboration between developers became a genuine friendship, built on trust, respect, shared passion and a commitment to making CryoDeath the best it could be. Kerag is now a partner at Panic Point Games, helping run the studio day to day while continuing to guide CryoDeath's creative direction.

Coming soon to Meta Quest

Wake up. Find out what happened.
Get off before they find you.

A standalone Meta Quest edition of CryoDeath is on the way, planned for an October release, so you'll be able to step aboard the Evriskon untethered. You can wishlist it on the Meta Quest Store now, and we're opening playtesting soon, hopefully by the end of August.
